Das denke ich auch, selbst in Kirkenes kam man an die vergammelten russischen Trawler nicht wirklich ran.

Danke vielmals, Uwe! Heizen ist in Norwegen kein Problem, Strom ist spottbillig. Ich finde es dort immer gnadenlos überheizt;-) Feuchte 0 Grad bei uns fühlen sich immer kälter an als trockene -15 dort.

Wie weit ist es denn, wenn es Grenzverkehr gibt , so wie bei mir mit der Schweiz. Hier haben wir die Berge und zirka 40 Km über dem Simplon Pass und mit dem Tunnel eine halbe Stunde mit dem Zug.Dass nur bis Brig, natürlich. Die Leute kommen von weiter mehr.

Die russische Grenze ist grad mal 10 km von Kirkenes entfernt, Murmansk ist ca. 220 km weg. Näher am dr Grenze sind auf russischer Seite einige kleinere Orte und der Bergwerksort Nikel (35km entfernt).

Besten Dank, Tanja! Von Oslo aus gesehen ist Kirkenes der AdW;-) Im Krieg haben es die Deutschen plattgemacht, nach dem Krieg typischer 50er-Jahre Wiederaufbau wie in der ganzen Finnmark.

Thanks a lot, Amelia! It looked abandoned and run-down but it was in use, behind the building were the rusty Russian trawlers. I guess they don't have the money to invest in non-essentials.

Dank dir, poly! Ich vermute, das Gebäude wird von Russen genutzt, dahinter lagen ihre rostigen Seelenverkäufer... In Kirkenes muss man aufpassen, ein norwegisches Netz zu bekommen, man landet leicht im russischen.

Schönen Dank, Leo! Kirkenes ist Wendepunkt der Hurtigrute und hat eher Kontinentalklima. Da kann es im Sommer schon mal 30 Grad haben.
