I've been inside there twice :) interesting place. Two of my cousins grew up across the sound from Rørvik.

Yes. One of them became so fascinated by seeing the Hurtigruten everyday from their house, that he became a cruise ship officer. He was working as a 1th officer on SS Norway and crystal symphony. Now he is one of the captains on one of the car ferries crossing the Trondheimsfjord.

A job like this seems a logical consequence;-) I guess he's relieved to have better working hours on the fjord ferry now.
