I think this composition is inspired. The subject's raised right arm provides framing at one side; her left arm completes the framing effect at the bottom. Her simple black clothing complements the colourful business of the background, and it is the background which really lifts this portrait to a state of excellence. It is freeform and the model's hair matches it for disorganisation. This is a tour de force.

I think I take my photos with freedom...without thinking about its composition...
the result imposes itself
the background is a huge painting which in my eyes would fit any photograph...
