We make it up the next ledge and finally a substantial lake. Some other hikers come down to the lake and we discuss over maps and realize we've taken the wrong drainage up from Sky Blue Lake. But they say we are better off, the lake we were aiming for is supposedly more difficult. So we aren't lost, and can continue toward our goal in this direction.
