The Abandoned Hat, Part One
This is the morning that I thought of Adrian Henri, because he left me something to think about.

"This lens is fully the equal of any Leitz or Leica 35mm Summicron on a Leica M" - Thomas Pindelski.

Wheelbarrow
I see the barrow cast aside;
The tubing made of fashioned steel,
Rolled, and sealed, and galvanized:
The bowl, the handles, and the wheel,
All tumbling like a fairground ride,
Then turning turtle in disguise.

Silbury Hill
Silbury Hill was built about 4,750 years ago and is the tallest prehistoric man-made mound in Europe. At about 131 feet high and occupying 5 acres, it is comparable to Egyptian pyramids being built at around the same time. It would have taken 500 men working for 15 years to complete this Neolithic project.
Photographed with a Nikkor-P 105mm f/2.5 lens on a Nikon D2Xs.

I Am Half Sick of Shadows
And sometimes thro' the mirror blue
The knights come riding two and two:
She hath no loyal knight and true,
The Lady of Shalott.
Nikon D2Xs + Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 AI-S lens.
Processed in Lightroom. A Limbo Lockdown Production™.

Heavy Air
In the place of death, and yews, and faded names on broken slabs, unvisited, unremembered: the birds, encouraged by the sextons who need to reassert life lest their spirits are crushed by the heavy air.

Morgan is a Hospital Trainee in Swindon
I did not like the inconsistencies at first (such as where distinguishing initials took their place) but later I heard the rhythm in this short and otherwise boring account. There is a poem in there trying to get out.

The Old Rectory (Multiple Exposure)
I was there. Many times I was there.
Yet many clouds have passed over since,
and the trees are taller now.
