The second deepest lock on the UK canals. The rise/fall is over 19 feet. I met the bloke in the photograph, he was a cool dude on a holiday whose occupation was photographer, so he had an interest in the kit I was using.
To get the canal down the hill to join the river Avon in Bath needs six impressively deep locks which in combination move water over 64 feet.
