Nikon D50 + AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens. This lens was one of the early 'Made in Japan' types from Nikon's late dash into auto-focus after mistakenly believing their customers were too sophisticated to want it. It had a horrid narrow manual focus ring, Nikon now being such converts that they could not imagine anyone wanting to focus manually with an AF lens. Optically, however, it was peerless.
