Tytherton Village Hall

The sign 'Tytherton Village Hall' is in a typeface little used these days. Indeed the whole building, nicely maintained and a valuable amenity for the village, must be at least 50 years old and probably considerably more. Whereas once it might have been considered ugly and utilitarian in its old charm surroundings, now it conveys a sense of period and it cannot be long before the producers of the 'Miss Marple' dramas arrive to use it as a backdrop for some ladies wearing hats and stout shoes alighting from a Bedford coach with their shopping baskets.
