Sassenhausen - Protestant chapel

Sassenhausen - Protestant chapel
A first chapel was mentioned in Sassenhausen in 1585. Following the inscription over the present Protestant chapel´s door, the building was built by the carpenter Mannus Ritessel in 1703.

The building is a "school chapel". School and church were united under one roof, as a part of the interior was separated by a wall and the resulting space served as a school room.
