Saint-Quantin-de-Rançanne - Saint-Quantin

The single nave church was erected within the 12th century. The church got damaged during the Wars of Religions, when the bell tower, that stood above the choir, was completely destroyed. It got replaced by the gabled wall over the western facade.

There are some extraordenary carvings here. In a line all over the facade, just above the doors, are 23 horse's heads.
