This is a hadrosaur or duck-billed dinosaur, Edmontosaurus annectens, originally found in Alberta and now in the lobby of the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto. It was a herbivore, and lived about 70 million years ago. The photo is a composite of several smaller photographs taken from close up. This was done first because the fossil is behind a fence-like enclosure to keep hands off, very understandable but it didn’t look very good in the photos. Getting close allowed the fence to be lost. Second, getting close should, in theory, pick up more detail. The joins are a bit “off” in several places but it was the closest to true that I could get.
