Had a bit of trouble with this one... it kept filling up! :-))

That's not a reflection btw, it's balanced on a second glass... precariously to say the least, apparently they are rather valuable too!!!

.t.a.o.n., Marco, mixpix, * Boes René * have particularly liked this photo

I would be afraid to use them. They are so elegant!

Update: They are quite new (5 years old), lead crystal and were over £700 for a set of six martini glasses and a silver/crystal cocktail shaker.
My friends wife uses them almost daily for her fruit juice :-) We were drinking Prosecco while taking this :-) They know nothing of cocktails so it is now my mission to educate them! :-) Until now these glasses went in the dish washer!!! one glass has suffered badly and is obviously the regular juice glass, this one shows some salt damage to the stem from the DW.

Y'know, drinks taste pretty much the same whether they're in lead crystal or a Mason jar. Just sayin'.

Well now that is apparently not true :-) although I do know where your coming from!
The history of both tea and beer is the history of the industrial revolution and started with Porcelain technology and Glass making technology... I don't know why glass is better than porcelain but it has something to do with the air you take in when you 'sip' and that is down to the thickness of the vessel you sip from :-) Mason jars being thicker than lead crystal should therefore taste less! perhaps we should conduct an experiment... ?

I'll drink to that! After two or three, I doubt we'd care if they came out of the Little Brown Jug of moonshiner fame.
