It's the 'new' (1962) Coventry cathedral the old one which you see in the reflection was destroyed in a bombing raid in 1940. I hope your week has started well Gunter

Thank you for your kind comments Rosalyn it's Coventry Cathedral the whole of the West end is glass, I'm standing with my back to the ruins of the old cathedral so you have people inside and out side the new one then the reflection of the ruins when you walk up the steps to the old one you are not on the floor of the nave that is several feet down they put a new floor on top of the debris. I've never really decided if I like the 'new' one but it always looks different depending on the light so if I'm in Coventry I have a walk round it

This is exceptional, Peter. I have been looking at in extra large for at least 10 minutes, and there is so much of interest to see. In my opinion the architects and designers have done a great job, not only with the design and artwork, but also with the preservation of the ruins, Excellent work all round, and congratulations to the photographer.

Thank you very much for your comments Amelia, I think if you haven't been there it would be quite confusing understanding what you are seeing. When ever you go both the old anew look different as the light changes. I had a film camera with me but I don't think I took that view
