Worldwide vaccination rates show worrying inequalities in the level of protection. There are a lot of reasons why this has occurred, and IMHO, it should be rectified as soon as practicable. The COVAX scheme should be expanded and made more effective. One of the major problems is the degree of vaccine hesitancy in some countries, coupled with an inadequate health system. There is also significant level outright anti-vaxx campaigning in some other quarters.
