cvd - first dose % by age group to 7th October 2021

The initial start and early shape of these curves is related to the way the rollout was organised by age cohorts for the first dose.

It would be better if more of the younger age groups reached similar levels of full vaccination to those achieved in the older age groups, & sooner rather than later. I worry about the high case rate for the current dominant 'Indian' variant among the unvaccinated, and what happens if another, more transmissible variant arrives ?
