cvd - covid-19 in UK schoolchildren

cvd - covid-19 in UK schoolchildren
Under 18s ie school-aged children may not, generally speaking, go on to develop serious illness or die if they get infected by Covid-19. But, they can spread it to other children, their siblings / parents or vulnerable adults. Additionally, having high cases rates is a known risk in the development of new variants. The opposing problem is the disruption to the educational processes.

So why did "they" remove the mask mandate in schools --- and take so long to authorise vaccinations for these age groups --- then telling kids who share rooms with an infected sibling that isolation is no longer required ...

Fortunately, many sensible children and their parents are getting their jabs as fast as they can.

Note : In the UK, if school- aged child can exhibit that they understand the implications - ie can give informed consent - then they can organise their own jab
