The third wave of new ['Indian' variant] cases are continuing to rise very steeply - and the relaxation of any official rules on mitigation measures will not be helping. Even keeping mask mandates, WFH and social distancing rules should make a significant difference.
Leaving vaccinations to so all the "heavy lifting" is going to place an undue strain on the NHS.
