Outside the museum and under the veranda roof [now, I ask myself, was it originally the platform canopy ? the decorative top of the cast iron pillar makes that possible] we found a series of picnic benches. This was the least mucky one - the staff were clearing the rest, it had been busy and they were short-staffed [as a couple of people were not at work - holidays, I think].
