Thick as a brick.
11 million of them. Stockport Viaduct, opened in 1840 as a two track structure and 111 ft high, it was the largest viaduct in the world, and is now a Grade 2 listed structure. Expanded to 4 tracks in about 1890. Here we see EMU 304027 approaching Stockport Station with an Up local service.
