A view west from the hillside of Sheffield city centre. Midland railway station sits low in the Sheaf valley.

South Street Park Amphitheatre in the foreground is an open-air amphitheatre used for performances, screenings and installations. This area was the site of poor slum housing until cleared in the 1950-60s to make this green space near the heart of the city.

A grand view of my home town.. Pete'...I have took many a multi shot panorama from that same position,.....// It's ended now but we 'older citizens' could get 'free' rail travel into West Yorkshire which is a huge area,.. was good while it lasted.
