I keep coming back to this contribution for World Photography Day. Does that say enough? Your processing of the photo really makes it stand out, feel the metal, sense the power.

I'm honored that you kept the event in mind during the details of running a train!

How many people does it take in that area to run the train? I've stood in places like that, but never on a working train.

Thanks very much Laura. I thought it fitted the narrative for me.
There are two of us on the footplate, driver and fireman, plus a guard in the train. Not to mention the station staff and fitters in the shed. It's a very different place with a fire in - very hot...!
