Slaithwaite Kirklees West Yorkshire 17th October 2020

Slaithwaite Kirklees West Yorkshire 17th October 2020
The view southwards down Carr Lane in Slaithwaite is dominated by the massive stone viaduct carrying the ex-LNWR Standedge route railway line along the north side of the Colne Valley. The chimney is part of the Spa cotton-spinning Mill built in 1907. This vast mill is now the home of Spectrum Yarns and their well-known brand, Stylecraft Yarns.
