Corn Exchange
The Manchester Corn Exchange at Hanging Ditch is a massive building dating from 1903. The entrance makes a big statement of power and influence. The right coat of arms is that of Manchester but I have so far failed to identify that on the left although it clearly has Manchester associations with the ship and the industrious bees. The building is listed Grade II and is now largely in retail and hotel use.
