Cosmic Egg

For years citizens have speculated about a heavily guarded site on top of Mt. Tamalpais highlighted by several enormous white globes. What is the military up to behind this secret fenced facility?
Is it really true that these are eggs from that dreadful monster, Mothra, laid before it’s epic battle with Godzilla?? Could it be that the military is monitoring this dangerous spawn as part of some sort of hideous experiment to create the ultimate weapon?
