Pigeon Point

Pigeon Point
Since 1872 the lighthouse's beacon of light has guided ships at sea.
Regarding the picket fence - it is utterly ineffective in keeping out pigeons . . .

This photo was shot from a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera with a KOWA LENS-S 1:3.5/150mm lens using Fujicolor Pro 160NS film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

I am certain there is some reason for the place name - maybe it's just not Pigeon Season !

Also a shot on a foggy day could be great, I can imagine a mysterious mood then! You remember the John Carpenter movie "The Fog"?? ;-D

LH have a unique charm. Very good composition with the fence creating a fine perspective which leads the eye towards the LH. I like the strong polarized sky.
