The dairy ranches of West Marin, north of San Francisco, are protected under the Marin Agricultural Land Trust and border the Tomales Bay Ecological Reserve and Point Reyes National Park.

This image was shot from a Zenza Bronica S2 Medium Format camera with a NIKKOR-P 1:2.8 f=7.5cm lens using Kodak Ektar 100 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Is this the area on the East side of 101?

Tomales Bay is about 25 miles west of Highway 101. The trailhead to Tomales Bay Ecological Reserve (where this photo was taken) is off of coastal Highway 1 just north of Point Reyes Station and south of Marshal.

Looks a pleasant spot, not unlike my local South Shropshire Hills, except that your grass is browner!

Not all are fortunate enough to have a countryside such as we have near our homes
