the gate was closed but did you enter
around the outside or wait until later
to watch and see what others did do
or were you a devil and just barged thro'
perhaps a trip wire was set as a trap
and if it was ... then fancy that . . .
but you took the shot and that was that
and around you turned ... now fancy that
if you had walked up the hills in the mist
you would not have had time to get ......
so onward and upward I hope you did go
at least it was raining and you had no snow
tired and hungry you returned I'm sure
and fell asleep having drunk one more !

I started so I finished ;-) would have done
better had I had a drink I reckon ;-)
