The day before Christmas
Another 48x zoom plus heavily cropped image, but thought I'd better get it added to my Sets before spring/summer really do arrive. After fresh snow two or three days ago, today has started off sunny and beautiful.
This winter, I had very little luck with close Snowy Owls. Almost every single one was little more than a tiny, white dot in a field. Wonderful to see, but not too much use for photos, ha. This Snowy was seen SE of Calgary on 24 December 2013.
