Memories
I never put photos of people on Flickr - I may have three or four distant ones here - and especially not of children, as it is very unwise. However, one of my dear friends in England who is doing so much to see to things in connection with my brother's funeral and affairs, suggested I make a Set of images that I would like to be shown at John's funeral, if the technology exists to do so. So, I will gradually add photos that I might use, but then will go through and finalize later. I had e-mailed her yesterday to ask if she knew if the funeral home might have the technological capability to take a few of my photos straight from Flickr (or in a different way) and she suggested I make a specail Set that can be accessed if it is possible. She will find out about this for me. I did want this one included and I might add one or two black and white ones. Nothing recent though!!! Not sure how I get round that : ) Guess I can simply e-mail a shot or two to my friend. All I have of my brother is a photo from maybe three years ago, and it really isn't good at all, so I don't think I'll use it. I begged for a lifetime for John to send photos of himself - but it just never happened : ) I'll go through my photostream and try and decide which photos to add, including some peaceful scenery, I think. Apparently, my Father must have been one of the first to use colour - and now that's really dating myself : )
Just discovered that I needed to put in the printer CD in order to change resolution settings, etc. I had wondered how to do that but up till recently hadn't needed it. So, after spending part of the evening doing the install process, I got to almost the end and then got one of those nasty Error messages. I wonder if it's because I didn't turn off the Anti-virus software first - but I never like to do that. Sigh ...
