Marbled Godwits

Marbled Godwits
Taken on a trip south of Calgary on May 6th, when a group of us went down to Frank Lake for a few hours. I don't know shorebirds well at all, as I don't often see them, so I enjoyed the chance to spend some time at this popular birding location. It also kept me away from my computer, giving my arms a much-needed break. For me, two highlights were several White-faced Ibis and a Barn Swallow. Thanks again, Dan, for arranging a very enjoyable outing!

As an German i only can give you a small input - The ipression "Scheune" is translated Barn
:-)
