Saddle fungus

Not sure if this is White Elfin Saddle, Helvella crispa. Friend, Doug, photographed one of these the other day, found at Shannon Terrace, Fish Creek Park. I was there shortly after and happened to come across this rather hidden fungus that looks the same (to my highly untrained eyes!). Hoping that is what it is : )
