Last Tuesday Helen and I went on a Christmas shopping expedition to High Wycombe!! I only had my phone with me but thought I should look out for some Christmassy type shots. The Christmas decorations here were a bit sparse and it was so wet that not even the children wanted to ride in the tea-cups :-)

With Christmas on the way one of my fave Christmas albums comes to mind as in "Have Yourself A Tractors Christmas" by, surprisingly, The Tractors :-) One of my fave tracks on the album is "Jingle My Bells".

To buy a Christmas tree
I can't afford no tinsel

My shot wasn't taken in the USA, we didn't buy a Christmas tree, I could have afforded some tinsel and it wasn't snowy :-) But, hey, I'm in charge here :-) Also, you can guarantee a lady will always walk into the shot just as I press the shutter button :-)

Your photo surely conveys the spirit of the season (even if a bit wet. It's wet here too.) A good and fun tune from "The Tractors" too.

Here's a pic for you from my local mall here in the USA. :D Christmas at the Mall (It's a ladies lingerie shop, in case you're not familiar with "Victoria's Secret" over there.)

Thanks so very much, Karen. And, thank you for faving my photo. Cheers also for the link.....'Victoria's Secret' looks to be a very 'up-market' store :-) I may have to see how much a flight over costs...if only to take some photos under your guidance :-) Jon mentioned 'Ann Summers' and I was going to say that this is the closest shop we have over here. But, having done some investigation I see there are some 'Victoria's Secret' stores over here certainly in London, Birmingham and Manchester :-) I don't know why but I clicked on the Ann Summers website and was a bit surprised to see they also have 'Toys for Him' and 'Toys for Her'. I think a bucket of cold water is needed :-)))))

I'm sure I already commented on this shot, perhaps forgot to hit enter before clicking on the link.
I just thought the picture quality on phone cameras now are far better than my early point and shoot cameras. For a dull overcast day this shot is quiet exceptional.

Cheers, Maurice. Appreciated. This taken with a Samsung Galaxy Ace that in technological terms is getting a bit ancient I guess :-) But, it is still capable of getting pleasing results. I have sometimes thought about upgrading it but it still does all I need :-)
