On Kumiva Flat, Pershing County, Nevada. We just _had_ to drive over and see what this anomalous spot on the playa was! The skylined peak to the left is Black Mountain, high point of the Bluewing Mtns.

Great contrast between the crusty man-made stuff (complete with the ubiquitous bullet holes) and stark natural environment! Super shot.

Thanks, everyone! The perspective on the flat is weird--there's no reference point, so objects can seem much closer (or farther) than they are. We thought this might be a car from a distance!
