Yes, the Denver & Rio Grande arrived in 1909. The tracks now evidently belong to the Union Pacific. Passenger service stopped in 1968, though. Unfortunately, construction of the railroad destroyed the "chugging" spring that gave the town its name! No environmental impact statements in those days--
