The Solitary Playgrounder

Lloyd Park playground, Walthamstow, London.
This is late February or early March 1956.
I'm almost two and soon my brother will be born.
I don't know what you call this thing but like all playground equipment of the time in Britain, you took your life in your hands when using it.
This thing had extraordinarily heavy ropes that, if you didn't run fast enough, hit you hard on the head with multiple ropes hitting you after the first hard whack.
So much fun to get airborne, though!
