A Smile Behind the Easter Lily
Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: SIGN(S) OF SPRING
This is a real photo postcard of a little girl smiling behind an Easter lily - a sure sign of spring. (Both the smile and the lily!) : )
I'd say this is probably between 1915 - early 1920s, but I forgot to check the stamp on the back before I put it up on my wall. (And it's on the wall 'til the house falls down - VERY securely! )
See the snaps of my new wall hangings below. (Still working on it.
They look a little wonky but they're not, in real life.)

That frame is definitely unique, Alan. I like it a lot but my husband thinks it's hideous. haha
It's some sort of early Bakelite, I think, and came with a CDV that looks to be from about the 1880s, so put in there quite a bit later. It actually has padding on it that was probably originally deep pink.
