The theme I chose for the week that ends July 22, was WATER, and photos that feature it in some form or other.
The boy is Ronnie and the little girl is his sister Patsy - my husband's father and aunt. Taken c.1932 on a strange beach - what are all those junky buildings in the background, I wonder?

les enfants ne s'occupaient pas trop de savoir si l 'environnement était propre, beau, sain ; l 'essentiel pour eux étaient de profiter du plaisir de l 'eau ! j 'ai connu ça :-)
