Possibly friend or relative on my husband's side. Found in the Halkard/Grimshaw family album of my husband's great grandmother.
This looks like an early photograph - 1860s I think.
I'd be interested in hearing other opinions.

Hi Anna - thanks for your visit. I will be glad to scan and send to you, but I'm not able to do it for a while - being an insanely busy month for me. I promise to find and scan as soon as possible, and will be very interested to hear if this is the same person you are researching.
