Trust me, Max, It looks exactly the same today! And by the way, that's NOT snow you're seeing (except for a few tiny flakes in the foreground and a tiny bit on the top of Mount Philo in the distance.
No, what you're looking at is dead, colorless grass - which is why I'm not out much in March!
Here's a few photos taken the same day where it's perhaps a little easier to see the deadness of the month!

Bei uns ist das Gras manchmal grau im Frühjahr aber in der Regel den ganzen Winter grün, weil es immer wärmer wird. Im Sommer wird es manchmal gelb, wenn es sehr trocken ist. Aber in den meisten Jahren ist es durchgehend grün.
Das ist wirklich kein herzerwärmender Anblick, da würde ich auch lieber drinnen bleiben. ;-)

I'm trying to get out more in the chilly months - but it's definitely a challenge at times!
