Simplex bicycle: dynamo
Dynamos running on the front tyre can slip during wet weather. If that happens, you can put a rubber cap on the dynamo.
Simplex was one of the biggest bike manufacturers in the Netherlands. The company was founded in 1887 and ended its life as a seperate company in 1965. The company was then taken over by the Gazelle company. Gazelle sold the name Simplex in 2000 to a German company.

Dynamo of my bike
One of the problems with a dynamo which runs along the side of the bicycle tyre is that after a while the little wheel becomes smooth and starts slipping, especially when it is wet. Then you have to buy a little rubber hood (or in this case: a rubber ring) for the dynamo wheel so you have light again.
Magneet bicycle
Magneet means Magnet.
The company dates from 1900, but only started making bikes in 1922. The factory is sold to the Batavus company in 1969, who used the name until the 1980s.
