Nationaal Militair Museum 2015 – V2 rocket

Nationaal Militair Museum 2015 – V2 rocket
The Netherlands was an important launching ground for these German rockets. Because the rockets could not be stopped once fired, the counter measures mostly consisted of bombing the railway supply lines. Unexploded bombs are still found to this day in the Netherlands next to railway lines and bridges.

The Dutch National Military Museum was opened in 2014. It is the combination of the old Army Museum and the old Militairy Aviation Museum. *** Faut le voyage if you like army stuff.
