Waterland just after sunrise.

Waterland just after sunrise.
So, what are those odd dark lines in the sky that diverge from or converge at the horizon? The sun is behind me and just above the horizon as this was taken just after sunrise.

Thanks, you guys!

I was thinking that maybe they're a kind of dark residue from the vapour? Maybe the air has a different quality where the vapour was? But shadows is also a good guess I think.

I'm hoping "Chris 1971" will see this. I think if anyone knows, it's him.

There's been four planes of Antimatter Airlines carrying commuters to work. :-) I've seen this effect a few times myself. It is cool; I guess the plane heats up the air, and the heat fuses the tiny droplets of water in the haze, making it rain down, thus sort of burning a hole in the haze.
