Tracing the Meon Valley Railway (29) - 5 January 2020
Only yesterday did I become aware of the existence of Privett station on the former Meon Valley Railway. In spite of Wikipedia's rather odd reference to the station being 'built in largely uninhabited countryside' (possibly true in 1903), the building today is easy to find being yards from the A32. At the time of posting it was for sale as a private residence. I chose this view as it features the alignment of the former trackbed.
