I've never seen quince blossom before - isn't it gorgeous? I think I'm going to have to think about getting one of these for my garden!!!

I was out with my kid sister and she bought one, so I copied her lol. They take a long time to get fruit worth eating, and you have to cook them, like bramley apples really.
A neighbour had one, in the country house we rented, and hers was on a south facing wall and was fantastic, growing up her house. She had so much fruit, she made quince jam.

Thanks.
Gracie - It's a type of fruit. Very hard and sour, like a cooking apple. You have to cook them, and often they are a pink hue. Unusual to eat, and nice mixed in with cooking apples, or if you have enough, you make jam or jelly with them.
