Fred Herzog
I grew up and lived most of my life in Vancouver BC. Fred Herzog came from Germany to Vancouver and with his Leica captured the essence of Vancouver street life. He was a pioneer of colour slide film. Sadly, he died in 2019 but left a legacy of over 85,000 images. I took this photo while visiting a small town on Vancouver Island.

This little town is called Chemainus and it is full of painted murals by artists put on buildings. Now the town is a tourist attraction.
