DE - Lahnstein - Baareschesser
Im Mittelalter mussten die Bewohner des unteren Lahntals auf das Grundwasser zugreifen, weil es in der Gegend keine Quellen gab. Um das Grundwasser sauber zu halten, verzichtete man auf das Anlegen von Sickergruben. Ihre Notdurft verrichteten die Menschen daher in diesen "Baare" genannten Behältern, woraus sich die Bezeichnung "Baareschesser" ableitete.
