DownEast Maine Lawn Ornament

This is a female Whitetail Deer named "Skeeter" (named by my daughter for an unknown reason). Every year there is a single large doe that hangs around the nearby woods and fields; in the Summer, usually with a fawn (once, there were two). So, through the years there have probably been a continuum of "Skeeters". Never have seen a buck nearby, and never more than one doe. Once, daughter's Labrador "Radar" saw the deer, broke the gate, and gave chase, but luckily he made a dumb move and I was able to tackle him.
