Streymoy,Tjørnuvík: Giant and Witch
Accordind to the legend the two distant sea stacks Risin & Kellingin (Giant and Witch) are fossils of an old woman and giant who tried to drag the Faroe Islands back to Iceland. The rising sun suprised them and they were turned into stone.

Adele club has replied to William Sutherland clubLa lunga distesa di spiaggia e di acqua sembrano rendere più inaccessibile questo promontorio e questi due "scogli", anche in questa immagine possiamo ammirare una bellezza "ovattata" nel senso che possiamo indovinare il silenzio che regna su questi luoghi, magari interrotto in sottofondo dallo sciabordio delle onde.
Ho accennato al tipo di ripresa e credo che sia stata una buona idea per dare profondità alla foto, dando modo ai nostri occhi di arrivare gradualmente al clou dell'immagine.
