The splash of red from the poppies invites me in to the photo. Super carefree summer!

Care free days they were dearest LGM, although this fence was the start of fencing off a lvery large area in preperation of the HS2 tunnel entrance. The line of trees to the left running parallet to the fence hide a bridle way which is also lost.
The water to the right of the fence is a drain off reservoir from rainfalls on the M25.
The poppies love being dug up :)

What a beautiful picture Nick. Last year we weren't able to travel to the known poppy fields. I'm hoping to see them this year though. Take care and have a good weekend ~ Rosa.

Thanks Rosa. I seem to remember that the Salisbury Plains had some good spots and let us hope that we are allowed out to play this summer.
