Cape Cornwall

I would like to be there today, without a TV which is a noisy distraction. Cricket used to be a nice quiet game, the sound of willow on leather, and cucumber sandwiches for afternoon tea. Now, like every other sport, it's just a noise. Tennis might get me a bit interested, but football totally turns me off. I think I'll just go and sit in the garden and read a book. ;-))))

Each to their own dear LGM ~ Cricket leaves me cold. I've enjoyed watching the Women's World Cup and always love Wimbledon. The Tour de France is good for scenery and outstanding feats on occasion. My kindle is my most favoured article and Cape Cornwall a good place to read it :))

Looking at the dates, I went walking here at about that time in October 2010, a few weeks shortly before I was exiled to Madrid! I can't prove it - I had no camera at that time!

Half and half, Nick. I got caught out in the depths of this last recession and lost everything in London so had a complete re-think while I recuperated for a year in Cornwall. Then my sister (who has lived in Spain since 1980) suggested I teach English in Madrid. I didn't want to teach children but she said: "No, stupid., Adults!"
Anyway, so here I am!
